Let's chat about something as old as time but as relevant as ever – gratitude. I myself wear different hats – life coach, working mom, small business owner, mentor and community leader – and I've seen how this simple thing can turn our lives around.
So, here's the deal as a life coach: Gratitude ain't just a buzzword. It's like flipping a switch in your head. It helps you deal with life's curveballs like a pro. Trust me; I've seen folks bloom with this mindset shift.
Being a working mom is like juggling grenades, right? Gratitude becomes my secret weapon. It's a nudge to see the good stuff in the middle of chaos. Even on the craziest days, there's a slice of goodness to be thankful for.
In my role as founder of my D.E.I amplifying small business owner, I am a one-woman show. From PR to socials, from making the products to designing new ones, from...well you get the picture. Gratitude keeps me balanced through the ups and downs of economies, through a general census of multiculturalism being a divider trope etc.
Now, in my role as the COO & Board Chair of Reach Her Inc., and my previous roles as President for Gladstone Multicultural Association, a P&C Fundraiser leader, gratitude is our glue. It's not about grand gestures but simple nods of appreciation. It's a chain reaction of good vibes, plain and simple.
Enter the five fingers of gratitude – an old-school practice with no fancy frills. It's not a challenge, just a daily nod to the good stuff. Ancient traditions meet today's chaos, reminding us that being thankful isn't rocket science; it's about being real.
And here's the cool part – you can teach this stuff to the little munchkins. The five fingers become their gratitude superhero move. Simple, right? It plants a seed for them to grow up seeing the world through thankful eyes.
But yeah Richa, why is 'gratitude' such a BIG deal ?
Well, because it's a game-changer that makes you stronger, brings folks closer, and adds a sprinkle of joy to the ordinary. Gratitude thoughg isn't a one-day wonder.Download the "Five Finger Gratitude Exercise" and let’s dive into a life filled with the good stuff.
Here's to keeping it simple, real, and thankful!

In the spirit of unity and respect, I acknowledge and pay my heartfelt respect to the traditional custodians of Whadjak country, the Noongar people. I stand on this ancient land with deep appreciation for their enduring connection to country, culture, and community. As we gather and work together, may we honor the wisdom of the Noongar elders, past, present, and emerging, and strive to nurture a harmonious relationship with the land, its stories, and its people.
